PURPOSE: A connector and a connecting structure of an electrical component and a circuit board are provided to securely maintain the connection of the connector bonded onto the circuit board and the circuit board even when a large stress is applied to the connection structure or the connection structure is in a high temperature environment by using a gap formed between a reinforcing plate and a housing. CONSTITUTION: A connector(1) includes a housing(3) in which a plurality of pin contacts(2) are arranged, and an elastically deformable plate member(4) attached to each of both sides of the housing. The plate member includes a portion attached to each side of the housing, a portion bonded onto a circuit board, and an extended portion connecting the attached portion to the bonded portion. A gap is formed between the extended portion and each side of the housing.
