PURPOSE: A vacuum pump is provided to improve pumping efficiency by increasing suction force of the vacuum pump while minimizing an output resistance and maximizing exhaust pressure of the vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum pump(1) includes a pumping chamber defined by a body(6) having a support section(5) coupled with a cover(8) having a suction port. A check valve is installed at the suction pipe. A connection member(11) formed with a suction pipe is coupled to the suction port by means of a fixing unit(9). An exhaust port is formed in the body(6) and an air exhaust port(13) is coupled to an upper portion of the exhaust port by means of the fixing unit(9). A screw section is formed at an inner portion of the pumping chamber.
