PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing a noise of a hermetic rotary compressor is provided to reduce a noise of gas discharged from a hermetic rotary compressor by removing a gap between a muffler and an upper bearing, thereby improving an effect of noise reduction. CONSTITUTION: A protruded part(10b) is formed in circular shape at a boss part(10a) of an upper bearing supporting a crank shaft. A gasket(30) is inserted into the boss part of the crank shaft so that the gasket contacts with the circular protruded part and is compressively fixed at a peripheral part of a combining hole(21) of a muffler(20) to prevent a gap from generating between the upper bearing and the muffler.
