METHOD OF SEPARATING CRUDE CORDYCEPIN CONTAINING ADENOSINE HAVING ANTI-TUMOR ACTIVITY AND ANTI-LEUKEMIA ACTIVITY FROM CORDYCEPS MILITARIS MASSIVELY AND RAPIDLY

PURPOSE: Provided is a method of separating crude cordycepin containing adenosine, which has anti-tumor activity and anti-leukemia activity, from Cordyceps militaris, massively and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: The method of separating crude cordycepin containing adenosine from Cordyceps militaris comprises the steps of: obtaining water soluble extract and lower alcohol soluble fractions of Cordyceps militaris, wherein the lower alcohol includes methanol, ethanol, and butanol; purifying the extract and fractions with cation exchange resin and eluting them at pH 6.0; passing them through TLC to collect fractions containing adenosine and cordycepin; passing the collected fractions through anion exchange resin, followed by elution; and removing colorings and followed by absorption using absorbent and removal of impurities.
