PURPOSE: A method for controlling an optimum recording power is provided to down a current recording speed according to a lowered recording power to continue a recording process, or to maintain an original recording power speed by increasing a driving current, thereby outputting a stable recording power regardless of a temperature change. CONSTITUTION: When an n speed recording command is inputted(401), a system detects temperature of an optical pickup(402). The system decides whether an increment change of the detected temperature is more than a preset threshold value(403). If not, the system continuously records data at set speed(404). If the increment change is more than the threshold value, the system downs a recording speed according to a lowered recording power(406). The system decides whether the recording process is terminated(407). If so, the system completes a program. |
