摘要 PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for driving an electro-luminescence display panel to be effectively booted are provided to prevent the crosstalk from generating and to reduce the power consumption by limiting the excessive rising of the instantaneous values of the booting currents. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving an electro-luminescence display panel to be effectively booted is characterized in that the instantaneous values of the booting currents is kept constant at all times, and each of the applying times of the booting currents is proportional to each of the display data signals of the current horizontal driving time and each of the change amounts of the display data signals of the following horizontal driving times. The electro-luminescence display panel is provided with a plurality of electro-luminescence pixels formed at the regions crossed by the data electrode lines and the scan electrode lines. And, each of the display data signals of the current horizontal driving times and the booting currents corresponding to each of the change vectors of each display data signal of the following horizontal driving times are applied to the data electrode lines during the start of the following horizontal driving time.
