<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chronograph timepiece having a small number of levers constituting a start-stop mechanism in which the shapes of the levers are simple, and in which the levers can be easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The chronograph timepiece is equipped with a plate 102, a front train wheel, an escapement and regulating device, at least one of an automatic winding device and a manual winding device, a second chronograph train wheel, a minute chronograph train wheel, and an hour chronograph train wheel. The chronograph timepiece further includes the plurality of levers for the start-stop operation of the second chronograph train wheel, and an hour and minute start-stop lever 442 for controlling the rotational/stopping operations of the minute chronograph train wheel and the hour chronograph train wheel. The hour and minute start-stop lever 442 includes an hour clutch ring contact 442c for the on/off operation of an hour chronograph wheel clutch ring 332h and a minute clutch ring contact 442d for the on/off operation of a minute chronograph wheel clutch ring 342h. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
