<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic vibrator that makes it possible to miniaturize an ultrasonic motor, and the ultrasonic motor using it. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic vibrator 1 of this invention has a laminate 1A composed of first and second stacked portions 2, 3. The laminate 1A is structured by alternately stacking piezoelectric sheets 7A, 7B and piezoelectric sheets 7C, 7D that have first and second internal electrode patterns and first and second external electrode groups in such a way as to be each sandwiched between an insulating piezoelectric sheet 12A arranged at a far left end and another insulating piezoelectric sheet 12B arranged at the center, and between the insulating piezoelectric sheet 12B and an insulating piezoelectric sheet 12C arranged at far right end.
