<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque controlling method for an AC motor that causes no torque shortage by using a low-cost current detection, in which currents Idc, Iqc of d-axis and q-axis of a rotating co-ordinate system are presumed from a DC current IDC that flows in the input DC bus bar of a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: Currents Id, Iq of an electric motor of d-axis and q-axis of the rotating co-ordinate system are presumed from a current detected value IDC in the input DC bus bar of a power converter using a DC power source 21 as an input. An output voltage of the power converter 2 is controlled in such a way that the presumed currents Idc, Iqc correspond to each of current command values Id<SP>*</SP>, Iq<SP>*</SP>. Also, an error in motor is obtained by calculating the current data of the motor and error in rotational phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
