<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC (RFID) capable of transmitting not only product information preliminarily given from the outside but also information indicating the current state of a product itself. <P>SOLUTION: The IC, having a storage means for storing product information including product identification information and a control means for transmitting the product information read out of the storage means to the outside, is provided with a sensor in the inside. The control means, when it receives the product information from the outside, writes the product information in the storage means.
