<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the multiaxial operation detection of an operation part and reaction force imparting based thereupon with a small-sized, simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A musical performance input device 1 is equipped with the operation part 2, a base part 3, and a joining part 4 joining the operation part 1 and base part 3 together. The operation part 2 is fitted to be displaceable in three directions shown by arrows A, B, and C. The joining part 4 is internally equipped with rotation parts, which are rotated on specific axes X, Y, and Z of rotation as the operation part 2 is operated to be displaced, by the axes X, Y, and Z of rotation and then the rotational displacement of the operation part 2 in the three directions shown by the arrows A, B, and C can be detected as rotational displacements around the corresponding axes X, Y, and Z; and forces of rotations around the axes X, Y, and Z are imparted by the axes according to the rotational displacements to impart tactile reaction forces by the three directions along the directions A, B, and C to the operation part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
