<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf shaft providing a sense of the acceleration of a head in driving. <P>SOLUTION: This shaft is provided with a first part and a second part in a rear end side of the first part. The first part and the second part are provided with flexural rigidity parts EI occupying 80% or more of the respective whole lengths and each having the relation of an approximately direct proportion to the distance from the shaft tip. The flexural rigidity of the first part is lower than the flexural rigidity of the second part. The proportional constant of the first parts is smaller than the proportional constant of the second part.
