PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit video information according to the picture size of a device which transfers information. SOLUTION: This information transfer device is provided with: a video information acquiring means (S2102) for acquiring the stream information of BS or CS broadcasting; a picture size setting means for setting the size of a picture which outputs the acquired video information; output video information generating means (S2104, S2105, S2106) for generating the output video information of the picture size set on the basis of at least a portion of the acquired video information; and an information transmitting means (S2108) for transmitting the generated output video information to an information receiving device. The video information is transmitted with a resolution matching the set picture size so that the video information matching the picture size of the information receiving device at the transfer destination can be transmitted.
