PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter for guitar that enables a guitar player to play the guitar in a natural back straightening posture on a chair while holding a pole side high without spreading the right leg by solving problems in which a playing posture where the player plays the guitar on the chair while holding the pole side high is an unnatural playing posture where the guitar is held by slanting the upper body toward the pole side and which is unnatural to the body and a playing posture where the legs are spread is a playing posture which is not suitable to a female player. SOLUTION: The supporter for guitar is constituted by standing a prop 2 on a base plate 1 whose internal surface is formed of a curved-surface plate conforming with the top surface of the thigh and provide a sucker 5, formed by covering a suction rubber body 4 made of a soft elastic material with a pressure board 3 and engaging a means for increasing a sucking force, to the upper end of the prop 2. Consequently, the player can play the guitar at the natural back-straightening posture on a chair and the support of guitar never falls from the guitar by slight changes of spreading of the legs.
