PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that has a simple constitution, can prevent the joints from excessively warping, and can be driven stably with less power without limiting the range of angles for the incident and reflection light. SOLUTION: Projections 41-44 are provided extending to the outside on the reflection plate 40 supported free to turn through a twistable and deflectable joints 45, 46 inside a frame plate 22. On the frame formed by overlapping three frame plates 22-23, a limiter formed by overlapping frame plate limiter pieces 22e-22h, 23e-23h, 24e-24h is provided to limit the projections 41 to 44 from moving farther than prescribed in the direction along the frame surface. Further, limiter plates 31-34 are formed overlapping each other in front and back of the projections 41-44 to limit them from moving farther than prescribed in the direction orthogonally crossing the frame surface (including the direction turning around the joint 45, 46).
