PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline base-material having a high octane number and a low benzene content. SOLUTION: This gasoline base-material is obtained by mixing a lighter distillate of a catalytically reformed gasoline from the initial distillate to the distillate having a boiling point of up to 80°C and a heavier distillate from the distillate having boiling point of 90°C to the last.
