PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation apparatus capable of rapidly forming flocs of flocculant injected water and accelerating growth of the flocs. SOLUTION: A chemicals-mixing tank 2 is provided with a flocculant mixing part 21 in which a raw water (a) to be treated is introduced and a flocculant (b) such as known aluminum sulfate or polychlorinated aluminum is injected and the raw water with the injected flocculant is agitated and mixed, and a floc glowing part 22 through which the flocculant injected water mixed with the flocculant is allowed to pass. Therein, the water with the injected flocculant is discharged as floc-treated water (d) and a water passing member 3 provided with a plurality of water through-holes 31 for promoting the growth of the flocs in the water with the injected flocculant is arranged in the floc glowing part 22.
