The arrangement (20) has a programming device, a tape dispenser, a tape cutter, upper and lower pressure rollers that correspond to a carriage and a pressure device so that the adhesive tape is wrapped around by more than 360 degrees. The programming device/controller controls the tape pre-dispensing length, the width of the object (30) to be processed, the cutting time point and carriage movement and drives for the dispenser, carriage and lower pressure roller. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of using the inventive arrangement.
