PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically grinding a table roller is provided to quickly and precisely detect the wear of a feed roller and to grind the feed roller in on-line. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically grinding a table roller is composed of a moving unit(30), a detecting unit(40), and a grinding unit(50). The moving unit is installed at the bottom of a truck(20) so that the truck moves along a rack gear(10), and includes a motor(31) installed at the bottom of the truck, and a moving wheel(32) having a pinion gear(33) engaged with the rack gear. The detecting unit is installed at one side of the truck, moves along a feed roller, and detects the wear of the feed roller. The detecting unit includes a moving block(41) movably installed at the truck, a case(44) moved up/down by the moving block, a moving member(47) movably installed in the case, and a detecting roll(48). The grinding unit is installed at the other side of the truck, moves along the feed roller, and grinds the feed roller. The grinding unit includes a support block(51) moved by a stone moving motor(52), a fixed block(54), and a grind stone(56) installed at the top of the fixed block and rotated by the stone moving motor.
