<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of reducing spin-off while increasing wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording medium 1 in which information is recorded by an information recording/reproducing head magnetically, optically or in other principles, and which comprises a substrate 11 made of a proper material, a recording layer 12 formed on the substrate 11 to record information, a protective layer 13 formed on the recording layer 12, and a lubricant layer 14 formed on the protective layer 13, when a layer containing lubricant molecules connected to a protective layer surface in the lubricant layer 14 is a connected layer 141, and a layer unconnected to the surface of the protective layer 13 and made of movable lubricant molecules is a fluidized layer 142, the lubricant of the connected layer 141 is different from that of the flow layer 142, and the surface energy of the lubricant of the connected layer 141 becomes higher compared with that of the lubricant of the fluidized layer 142. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
