<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize an emitted light amount from an emission surface of a light guide plate in the vicinity of a plurality of light emitting diodes as much as possible even if a plurality of the light emitting diodes are arranged with spaces as light sources for a backlight. <P>SOLUTION: Three light emitting diodes 16 are arranged at positions facing to an incident surface 14 of the light guide plate 12 at predetermined intervals. The three diodes 16 and the emission surface 13 of the guide plate 12 in the vicinity of them are covered with a second reflecting sheet 18 decomposed for convenience for showing them in figure. On a surface of the reflecting sheet 18 facing to the three diodes 16 and the guide plate 12 in the vicinity of them, a region corresponding to each diode 16 is formed into a low-reflection surface 19 having a reflectivity lower than that of each region corresponding to an area between the diodes 16. Therefore, the emitted light amount from the emission surface 13 of the guide plate 12 in the vicinity of the three diodes 16 can be equalized as much as possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
