PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a worse S/N ratio that causes a drop in the measuring precision in the blood analyzer in view of the transmission light which can not be obtained sufficiently because of a larger absorbancy at the specified wavelength even in the irradiation with beams of light with different wavelengths.
SOLUTION: The blood analyzer has a plurality of light emitting elements for irradiating the living body with a plurality of beams of light with different wavelengths and photodetectors for receiving the beams of light made to irradiate the living body from the plurality of light emitting elements through the living body and calculates the concentration of at least one component in the blood of the living body based on the photocurrents of the photodetectors. The sufficient amount of transmission light can be obtained from at least one light out of the plurality of beams of the light by differentiating the number of the photodetectors used from that of those used in other lights.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
|
