PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for an electronic apparatus of a television receiver or the like wherein a mechanism is provided for preventing the occurrence of chattering noise by absorbing vibration at a contact part between a display surface and the cabinet, and the mechanism is easily manufactured upon its manufacture without requiring a difficult segregation work when the electronic apparatus is abolished. SOLUTION: The cabinet having a predetermined strength can be manufactured without causing a trouble such as sink even with the uniform thickness of the cabinet while having preferable buffer performance at the contact part, by performing gas injection molding using high pressure nitrogen gas such that a hollow part is formed at a portion where the cabinet makes contact with an article contained in the cabinet, in a process where the plastic cabinet of the electronic apparatus is injection molded.
