PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of properly adjusting the image quality independently of the differences between image generating apparatuses. SOLUTION: The network system for generating and distributing color reproduction information for optional image data generated by the image generating apparatus is provided with: an output apparatus for using image data and the color reproduction information to provide an output of an image; and a color reproduction information generating apparatus connected to the output apparatus via the network, the output apparatus outputs a first class original image whose color is calibrated from an image output section and can transmit the first class image data obtained by imaging the first class original image by the image generating apparatus to a color reproduction information generating apparatus and stores the color reproduction information received from the color reproduction information generating apparatus, and the color reproduction information generating apparatus is characterized in to use the network system capable of receiving the first class image data, generating the color reproduction information on the basis of the received first class image data and transmitting the generated color reproduction information to the output apparatus.
