PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer machine which secures a large transfer stroke only by a link mechanism, capable of transferring even a large glass plate at a high speed without allowing the glass plate to interfere with a stocker or the like. SOLUTION: The link mechanism comprises a pair of bucket support links 2 fitted with a bucket 4 on the front end thereof, an X-shaped main link 1 on the front end of which the bucket support links 2 are pivotally attached, and a pair of swinging links 3 pivotally attached to base ends of the main link 1 and swingable on drive shafts P on base ends of the swinging links 3. As the swinging links 3 swing, the link mechanism bends and stretches to move the bucket 4 along a moving track in a linear transfer direction while the position of the bucket is controlled.
