PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio wave absorber which does not decrease in radio wave absorption property and flexibility when used in outdoors, has weathering durability improved from conventional arrangement, and can have various colors in the surface. SOLUTION: The radio wave absorber is provided with a radio wave absorption layer constituted by dispersing iron powder wherein carbonyl iron is reduced into chlorinated polyethylene, a flexible protective layer arranged on one side of the absorption layer, and a radio wave reflecting layer arranged on the other side. When in use in outdoors, deterioration of the radio wave absorber 1 due to UV rays or the like can be restrained, and superior radio wave absorption property and flexibility can be maintained. Especially since polyurethane paint and acrylic paint have successful adhesiveness and adhesive property to the radio wave absorption layer 2, the protective layer 3 is made very thin and uniform, and can be formed easily and prevent exfoliation of the protective layer. By blending pigment with the protective layer, different color which cannot be seen on a surface of the conventional radio wave absorber can be taken out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
