PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connector housing with a locking mechanism or the like with reduced thickness and size, which can be easily pulled out by unlocking with little force. SOLUTION: The plug connector housing with a locking mechanism is provided with a housing 110 composed of a main body 111 and a fitting part 112, housing a contact 200; lock arms 120 arranged at both sides of the housing in width direction thereof, extending backward in a direction of depth, having a protrusion 124 on a tip part 123 thereof; and an operation arm 130 extending frontward in a direction of depth, transferring a force directing inside of width direction to the lock arm. The housing is constituted so that the protrusion is locked into a receiving face 320 when the fitting part is inserted into a cavity 310 of a receptor connector RC, and unlocked from the receiving face when a tip part 133 of the operation arm is pushed toward inside of width direction.
