PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously recover a tape-like material consisting of synthesized high-purity carbon nanotubes. SOLUTION: In the recovery method, the tape-like material containing carbon nanotubes and formed on a cathode by arc discharge method is separated by blowing a gas toward the end of the adhered part of the tape-like material adhered to the cathode.
