PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for sorting and removing anything which should not be mixed (particularly, resins or the like which are easily softened by heat) during a process for producing a crude tea. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of a transfer means transferring tea leaves, a heating means heating the transferring surface of the transfer means at an arbitrary temperature and a branching means sorting materials to be sorted corresponding to the dropping position after transferring.
