PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding protector that can prevent the adhesion of sputters to a light shielding plate or light shielding lens fitted to the vision-light of a welder protective mask. SOLUTION: This welding protector is constituted by installing a transparent plate to the outside of the light shielding plate or lens of the welder protective mask or welding goggles and, in addition, a transparent film composed of a silicon compound having a fluoro-alkyl group in its molecule and a thickness of 10-2,000 nm to the surface of the transparent plate. Consequently, a sputter adhering function can be imparted to this protector and, in addition, the adhesion-of-sputter preventing a function of the protector can be improved by providing a recessed and projecting structure on the surface of the protector.
