An automatic gearbox (12) has a neutral position (N) for interrupting a frictional connection between driving wheels (13,14) and a motor (11). Wheel sensors (24-27) detect rotation on the driving wheels and on the wheels (21,22) of a motor vehicle's second axle. A driving dynamics module assesses each position of a brake pedal (30).
