摘要 <p>The power train unit mounting has a spring element (2) of elastomeric material. A damping chamber is filled with a damping medium. The chamber is divided by a membrane (8) into a first chamber (9) bounded by the spring element, and a second chamber (10). An actuator affects the damping in dependence on an external control signal. The membrane (8) is fitted with freedom to move axially. The actuator has means for reducing the axial movement of the membrane to change the damping in dependence on the external control signal. The external control signal is preferably generated by a control unit which analyzes the acceleration of the vehicle and provides a control signal in dependence thereon. Independent claims also cover a method of damping the power train unit dependent on driving conditions.</p>
