The machine attachment (1) has two cylinder portions (2,3) enclosing the drilling spindle (5) and drilling tool (6) of a drilling machine (4). A hydraulic oil circulation system (14) cooperates with a pressure-spring supported stamp (21) to generate force for moving the cylinder portions to move the spindle and drilling tool in feed direction. The axle of the machine attachment coincides with the axle (7) of the drilling spindle and drilling tool. The first cylinder portion (2) is mechanically and firmly connected with the center of the drill machine, while the second cylinder portion (3) is displaceable to the first cylinder portion. Rotary bearings (10,11) are provided in the cylinder portions for guiding the drilling spindle and drilling tool. An attachment bush (12) is mechanically fastened to the rotary bearing in the second cylinder portion to make the second cylinder portion stationary opposite a composite material. A pressure spring (20) is used for backing up the cylinder portions.
