A recording medium delivery mechanism (7) having a delivery space (C) opened on the downstream side thereof in the paper delivery direction, comprising a side wall member (71) allowing a change in the attitude thereof between a stood state in which small-sized paper is received when the small-sized paper is delivered and a fallen state in which a placing surface in the delivery space (C) for placing large-sized paper thereon is increased when the large-sized paper is delivered. In the stood state, the side wall member (71) is not projected to the side of the device. In the fallen state, the placing of the large-sized paper is allowed.
