PURPOSE: A method for constructing a cyber library based on a data streaming service and an operating system thereof are provided to offer an e-book data streaming service for completely protecting information of contents, and offer the service to by storing/playing reading information in real-time when a user views a book. CONSTITUTION: A book contents providing server(100) comprises an e-book registering module(120), an e-book selling module(130), an e-book ordering module(140), a member managing module(160), an e-book purchase module(170), and a software version managing module(180), and performs total service management for book contents through an e-book contents transaction managing module(150) and an e-book contents sales service monitoring module(110). A cyber library operating server(200) comprises an e-book information search module(220), the e-book registering module(230), a search information processing module(240), a user managing module(260), a statistics information processing module(270), and a cyber library managing module(280), and performs a cyber library role through a streaming service managing module(250) and an e-book user service monitoring module(210).
