PURPOSE: A method for driving a keypad having plural back lights is provided to change a key button pressed by a user into the color of the second back light while the first back light set to a basic color is turned on. CONSTITUTION: When a folder of a cellular phone is open(S10), the initial operation of a set back light is started(S20). The first back light is turned on(S30). If a number key '0' is inputted while the first back light is turned on(S40), the key button of the number key '0' is changed into the color of the second back light(S50). If a number key '5' is inputted instead of the number key '0'(S43), the number key '5' is changed into the color of the second back light(S45).
