<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method of a network acquisition which is effective for reducing a dead time from a power-on of the radio communication device to an accomplishment of the network acquisition and the related cellular radio communication device. <P>SOLUTION: The method of a network acquisition comprises a step which stores a detail about a cell to which the radio communication device was connected at the time of the network loss for the cellular radio communication device as a cell information for at least a first and a second different instances of the network loss, a step which executes processing for establishing a network based on a stored detail for one of stored plural cells, a step in which one cell of plural cells is camped on when a network accomplishment is effective or in which executes processing for establishing a network based on the stored detail for other cell of plural cells when it is not effective, a step in which other cell is camped on when a network accomplishment based on the other cell of plural cells is effective, and a step which searches a network cell when none of an effective cell exists.
