<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide type optical frequency shifter using a surface acoustic wave which is integrated at a 1.55μm band light wavelength used in an FSF laser. <P>SOLUTION: The waveguide type optical frequency shifter using the surface acoustic wave has a waveguide shape of a light diffraction part to increase a photo-acoustic interaction length of a part undergoing the surface acoustic wave diffraction and has a waveguide after diffraction constituted of a tapered waveguide condensing diffracted light at 1.55μm band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
