<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of pieces of card information to be simply down-loaded while a security is held when they are down-loaded to a portable information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A card issuing business 2 or 3 is connected to a card certification method down-loading center 1 equipped with a card certification down-loading server 4 by an exclusive line and the card certification method down-loading server stores a certification method set for certificating the person each card issuing business. An owner of a portable telephone 5 having an account to the card issuing business, when the card information is down-loaded to the portable telephone 5, is connected to the card certification method down-loading server 4 to select the card issuing business. At that time, the card certification method down-loading server 4 down-loads a certification method corresponding to the selected card issuing business is down-loaded to the portable telephone 5.
