<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily estimating a parameter indicating a condition of a monitoring object, a method for monitoring the condition of the monitoring object by using the parameter, a parameter estimating device, a condition monitoring device, a condition monitoring system, a computer program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The condition monitoring device stores a time series äx<SB>n</SB>} comprising N pieces of data indicating the condition of the monitoring object, an estimate äe<SB>n</SB>} of white noise, and a parameterθ<SB>N</SB>of an ARMA model estimated from the time series. When an N+1th piece of data of the time series is received (S3), on the basis of an arithmetic expression with calculation simplified by using a priori knowledge, an estimateθ<SB>N+1</SB>of a parameter estimated from a time series with N+1 pieces of data is calculated (S7), a difference betweenθ<SB>N+1</SB>andθ<SB>N</SB>is calculated (S8), and determination of the condition of the monitoring object is carried out (S9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
