PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel wherein a liquid crystal can be vertically aligned when no voltage is applied even if there is no assistance of an orientation control film. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal panel wherein a liquid crystal layer is interposed between a pair of substrates, the liquid crystal layer contains the liquid crystal and a cross-linked resin and the cross-linked resin has a cross-linked structure part stuck to a liquid crystal contact surface and a terminal part (a rising terminal part) rising from the liquid crystal contact surface.
