PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which can reduce the production costs by spraying the mist with a desired particle size without providing a nozzle as required for spraying the mist with a smaller particle size. SOLUTION: The generator includes a nozzle 1 for spraying hot water and a mesh cover 2 disposed over the nozzle 1 locally in the direction of spraying the hot water. As a result, the atomized mist can be generated by making the hot water sprayed from the nozzle 1 pass through the mesh cover 2. This dispenses with providing a nozzle required for spraying the mist with a small particle size, thereby reducing the production costs.
