PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a reinforcing thread 14a to be buried in a rubber hose, having≤4% moist heat shrinkage and little amount of digging of the thread into an inner rubber tube 12 through simple processes. SOLUTION: The reinforcing thread is produced through a process for spinning and drawing a polyamide, a process for dipping the spun and drawn filament yarn into an adhesive solution, a process for dry heat treating the filament yarn for 1-5 minutes at≥225°C to <240°C temperature with giving≥100g tension to the filament yarn after dipping, a process for relaxing the heat shrinkage rate by applying heat treatment for≥1-5 minutes at 230-250°C by transporting the dry heat treated filament yarn under <100g tension. The process for relaxing the wet heat shrinkage reduces residual stress loaded to dry heat treated filament yarn by heat treating the filament yarn by feeding it to zigzag on the conveyor.
