PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability, and to search a return home route to be in time for a return home time desired by a user. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle information device 1 is provided with an own position storage part 102 for holding preliminarily own home position of the user, a return home time storage part 103 for holding preliminarily a return home time of the user, a present position acquiring part 106 for acquiring the present position of the user, a present time acquiring part 107 for acquiring the present time of the user, a route searching part 108 for acquiring the return home route from the present position to the own home position, a required time for the return home route, and a departure time to start the present position required to return home before the return home time, and an exhibition part 111 for comparing the departure time acquired by the route searching part 108 with the present time, and for exhibiting to the user the departure time acquired by the route searching part 108, and the return home route, before the departure time passed away.
