PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of indication operation of information without going back to the menu and tracing a menu hierarchy. SOLUTION: A producing means 102 for producing a setting screen including the present position and a destination set by a user, an indication means 106 for indicating information, and a calculation means for calculating a route distance from the present position to the destination, are provided to the navigation system by which the indication of information is performed through the screen of the indication means. It also comprises an indication execution means 103 for indicating the setting screen on the indication means, a reception means 104 for receiving a selection of the destination of the setting screen indicated on the indication means by a user, and a processing means 105 for indicating information used for setting the information concerning the destination selected based on the selection or the destination.
