PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to grasp precisely whether an actual traveling route follows a route guide or not. SOLUTION: This navigation device is characterized by being equipped with a RAM 2 as a composition storage means for storing information on the composition, a composition reproduction part 3 as a composition reproduction means for reading out the information from the composition storage means and reproducing the composition, a GPS unit 4 as a position detection means for detecting the present position of a vehicle, a CPU 5 as a route guide means for searching for the traveling route of the vehicle to the destination and guiding along the traveling route of the vehicle based on the present position detected by the position detection means, and the CPU 5 as a reproduction control means for changing the reproduction state of the composition by the composition reproduction means according to the traveling route guided by the route guide means and the present position detected by the position detection means.
