PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge that supplies an ink in an ink container to an inkjet head almost by a prescribed set pressure. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 4 has a flexible ink container 25 and a casing 29 composed of a body portion 22 and a lid portion 23. The penetrating members 40 of the body portion 22 are put through holes 30 on one side of the ink container 25 and a leading-out opening member 77 is engaged with a notch 10a. When the penetrating members 40 are fitted into the supporting member 50 of the lid portion 23 and connected to the body portion 22 and the lid portion 23, the ink container 25 is fixed to the casing 29 on one side and held in a suspended condition with the lower portion set in a nearly free condition in a use condition. Consequently when the ink container 25 is to be fixed, a pressure acting on the ink container 25 can be restrained and an ink can be supplied to the inkjet head by restraining a pressure variation associated with the reduction of an ink of the ink container 25.
