PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect angular velocities as to three shafts with high responsiveness. SOLUTION: A weight 40 is circularly moved along a circular orbit 41 within an XY plane around the origin O as the center, under the condition where the weight 40 is supported to be movable with a prescribed degree of freedom inside a casing. Coriolis force Fco acting on the weight 40 along a Z-axis direction is detected in a moment when the weight 40 passes through an X-axis, in a point Px, to detect the angular velocityωx around the X-axis. The Coriolis force Fco acting on the weight 40 along the Z-axis direction is detected in a moment when the weight 40 passes through a Y-axis, in a point Py, to detect the angular velocityωy around the Y-axis. Force acting on the weight 40 along an X-axis direction is detected in the point Px to detect the angular velocityωz around a Z-axis, based on Coriolis force obtained by removing centrifugal force from the force.
