PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulated power supply circuit where a charge pump operation is stopped to reduce power consumption at the time of a small load, and an output voltage is stabilized with the element of small capacitance. SOLUTION: In the regulated power supply circuit, an output voltage V<SB>out</SB>of a charge pump power supply circuit is compared to a first reference voltage V<SB>ref1</SB>and an error amplifier 13 outputs the error signal based on the deviation between them. The error signal is compared to a second reference voltage V<SB>ref2</SB>, and the charge pump operation by a clock pulse generating circuit 15 is stopped if the deviation is equal to or less than a prescribed value. A current source 14 is connected in series to the gate of a switching element 4.
