PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a retrieving time to retrieve a reproduction start position becomes longer than a retrieving time of a reproduction start position of a set section in audio data recorded in a CD-DA, when a MP3 file of a variable bit rate is reproduced and the set section is loop-reproduced. SOLUTION: A control part performs control for storing a reproducing time when an MP3 frame detected immediately before setting of the reproduction start position by an operation part and information of a recording position at which the MP3 frame is recorded. Also, the control part performs control for storing audio data reproduced in a preliminarily decided time from setting of the reproduction start position in an audio data storage part. When loop-reproduction is started after the setting of a reproduction finish position, a recording position stored in the storage part is retrieved, and reproduction of audio data succeeding to the audio data read from the audio data storage part is controlled.
